UnCrummy (Jan 5)

Welcome to my recurring list of things that are decidedly not crummy. Here you'll find links to helpful articles, books, music, apps, podcasts, people to follow, and more. Here is what's UnCrummy this week:

The Relentless 2020 News Cycle in One Chart

I think this chart from Axios explains why I'm getting gray hair. But seriously, I love reading Axios and thought this was a super interesting graphic highlighting a crazy year of news coverage. 📊

Mango Language app

I realized late last year that our local library offers free access to Mango with my library card. I've been going through their Biblical Hebrew and Ancient Greek courses. Check with your local library to see if they offer access or you can always just sign up for Mango's free trial to check it out. 🗣

Tweet: Christocentric ethics

Bryan Loritts is a pastor and author who has a remarkable knack for approaching tough topics with wisdom and grace. 🧠

Reading Schedule Generator

Setting some ambitious reading goals for the new year? Use this super basic tool to calculate how many pages you'll need to read each day to stay on pace for each book you read. 📚

Hand Mirror App

Quick and easy mirror app for Mac users. If you're anything like me, you're on a lot of video calls these days. I typically want to make sure my lighting is halfway decent and that I don't look like a complete wreck before I jump on a call. This simple app sits in your top menu bar and opens up a little live view of your webcam when you click on it. 🪞

Bonus: Matt Crummy Pinterest

I started a new Pinterest account for quotes, graphics, and other design stuff related to this site. Check it out and follow me if you love to pin! 📌

A personal note:
Lastly, I want to thank you for all your support. I've been so touched to have people subscribing from all over the world. I'm truly honored. - Matt
